Default Brisk or NGK?

I am going to change my plugs because of the gap issue on the ecoboost. I just want to know if NGK's are fine or should I go with the Brisk plugs?

I am very happy with my Brisk, can't speak for the NGK's. Smooth idle, no stumble and I have them gapped at 0.028"

They are both great plugs. Brisk is geared towards the race/replace more often side.

I am not racing it. It is just a daily driver.

I'm running NGK 6510 with no problems (Supercharged 5.0 though). I think it's an Iridium IX plug.

I would recommend the NGK Iridium. Sparks like copper wears like platinum.

In my track motors running 14:1 or 14.5:1 compression I've had problems with Brisk plugs (weird heating problems in the right heat range). I installed NGK 6509 s (LTR6IX-11) in my 3.5L truck gapped to .031-.033, the 2013 spec. I have not, as of yet, pulled one spark plug out to inspect it as I may need to go one heat range hotter.

BTW, in order to get a factory gap in NGJ, you want LTR6IX-8 (gap of .0315). The problem is that NGK doesn't seem to make a dash8, and so you'll need to mash the gap down. However, other makers of plugs may offer a plug that doesn't need to be radically re-gapped.

Consult this thread as well: https://www.f150forum.com/f70/colder...177255/index6/

BTW, the Autolite OE replacement is
XP5263 XP5263
but it sounds like those suffer the same problem the NGKs in that you'll need to recap them from .044 down to .031-.033.

I have run one step colder (Silver Racing Plugs) gapped at 0.025" and stock heat range (Iridium) gapped at 0.028" with zero problems and great results from both. Both Brisk.

So it sounds like you can't go wrong
