Just installed the ones that the OP had posted from Ebay. I bought myself a set after seeing this thread.

All I can say is that they are ok The beam is more throw than flood or even a combination of the two. So Its brighter, alot brighter, but most of the light is behind the tailgate and not spilling out the sides for me to see out my side mirrors.

Ill see if I can get any decent night photos.

You can sand the end of the led bulbs to get a flood pattern but they are directional by design

I'll have to try these. The stock bulbs do next to nothing.

Found these on recon website. Might order but a little pricey.

Interesting stuff. I just might have to try out some new bulbs. The stock ones aren't very good in my '11.

Question Bright (7watt) Reverse LED Light

A better / brighter reverse light would be a big help. Can anyone recommend a retailer to buy these besides ordering off of ebay. I have now just read this thread so have not had a chance to check out the local ORiely's or Autozone, etc.

These are the same as the ones I have installed...work alot better than stock..I would stay away from the LED's made in China...they are priced cheap for a reason...they burn out fast...Jon_to here on the site has reverse LED bulb's for sale and provides a warranty with them.
