Default To Break the Law or Not ?

I really hate the offset license plate on the front of my Ecoboost. So I'm seriously thinking about ignoring the Missouri law that requires a front plate.

I seriously doubt the missing plate would be enough to get me pulled over, but who knows? I do live in a little Socialist 'utopia' town that calls itself "The Progressive Choice of the Ozarks."

What do you think I should I do?

Ohio requires front plates and I haven't ran front plates for years. Never gotten a ticket, had one guy warn me about it when I did receive a speeding ticket but that's it.

In good ole Texas we are required to have the front plate which I have always had. Well I put a receiver hitch on the front for a removable winch. Put the winch on and about 80 miles later I got a ticket for obstructing the view of the plate..... So it really just depends on how bored/desperate/picky the officer is.

I live in Missouri too... and im considering the same thing but am undecided. A few years back I got pulled over in my mustang for not running a front plate, i was only warned for it but then a few weeks later I was pulled over for it agian by the same cop ( what luck) who then made me put the plate in my winsheild. Let us know what you decided because i curious.

What town you live in?

I hope that this doesn't end up leading to a "Can you believe I got a ticket?!!??" thread...

I live in Virginia where a front plate is required also. I never ran a front plate for years and never got stopped. I figured I was living on borrowed time so I put my front plate back on with my new truck...I drink and drive too much to give them an excuse to pull me over anyways...so I'm already breaking the law...
