Default Bras anyone?

I'm going to take a cross country 2 week vacation next June. The total trip milege will be about 4500 miles. I'm worried about rock chips, bugs, etc. on my FX4 painted bumpers etc. Does anyone have a recommended bra manufacturer for their 09-10 F150? I have a Colgan bra that I use on my 03 Cobra when I drive to car shows. It fits like a glove and does not use any velcro.
I have seen the new invisible stick on bras on E-bay, but I've never used one. Any users?

I would recommend the invisible stick on if you can get it to lay perfect. If you want to know how well it works go look at your back bumper. It is the same thing that is on the tips of your rear bumper to prevent rock chips from the back tires.

I would recommend 3M invisible tape or even Line-X. You can get linex PTM. It looks great and protects great.

A few guys that I raced with used the 3m stuff to protect their custom paint on the nose of their cars... They had it put on and that stuff worked perfectly... Most of the time you could hardly tell it was on there...

If you have the 3M PPF installed by a trained/authorized installer, it comes with a 5 year warranty.

If you don't like putting decals on toys or models, I suggest you have it professionally installed. It will take about 4 hours.

I have a bug shield on mine and I think it does an ok job as far as rock chips. I like the looks better w/out it but felt the clear bra was too $$$. I think MOST guys like the bra-less look lol.

I had Ventureshield professionally applied to my front end. Worked great so far.

Agreed. The 3M protectant works great and it is very hard to tell that it is on there. Just don't use a carnauba wax over it, that will make it turn yellow. I recommend using a quick detailer on the 3M protectant.
