Brand spanking new expensive truck, having a Ford Tech that very likely is underpaid, under trained and over worked remove the cab from the truck with all that goes along with that. IMO the truck may not ever be the same, not to mention OASIS report for resale. I'll take a new one.

You bought a truck, truck is yours, now you have a minor warranty concern, well then take it to your dealer for repair. Blown engine only counts as one in TGW chart.

That's what the warranty is for....New engine, plus ask for some "consideration"

Any other product breaks you get a new one ?
You mean like a TV, DVD, Blue ray player etc ???

Sorry for your issues. I think a new engine would suffice, the truck body is still good.

Thanks for all the responses, everyone! I'm sure the O.P. appreciates it.

I'll get this concern into the hands of your regional customer service manager, flyer58. Please send me a private message with your full name, VIN, servicing dealership, and best daytime contact number. I'll get started right away.

this.

as hard as people swing from carfax nuts these days when you go to sell or trade in your truck with a line that says "engine replaced" its going to cause you to take a hit regardless of if they actually say that's why.
As long as you get a complete crate long block that hasn't had valve covers off, etc, it shouldn't be an issue. I'd be more concerned w/ non-factory installed stuff like that leaking early.

Cab removal is not needed on these trucks for engine removal.
