5.0 w/3:73's and I got 18mpg with my first tank with a fairly even mix of city/hwy driving. I didnt bother checking the next two since it was running 10-15 per day with the auto start. Filled it yesterday and will be checking this tank.

keep us posted. i just got my first tank of fuel besides the one that came from dealer. 750km's to empty and took 123 litres. i was hoping at least 800-900 city and over 1000 for highway. dealer said i would get that, anyone know of a fix or should i take in or is it cause its still brand new?

One tank of fuel is way too little to get any good averages yet.

Ok I reset computer as well when filling up and 750km to empty. How many tanks? It seems very low though right now compared to what other people are getting, not impressed..

I was going to take to shop today.

That km to empty thing is never right when you fill up. Mine fluctuates as I drive. For instance one time it said 630km to empty (98 liter tank) and I was able to get 820km out of that tank. I don't even pay attention to that thing most times anymore, now I just reset my trip A on every fill up and figure out my own km till empty

It will get better trust me. Also the Kms to empty reads lower when you first start the truck when it warms up the distance increases, it's weird I know. I'll have some numbers for you after I run through this tank of gas.

You got to settle down, it is winter and you have a new truck. When spring summer roll around you will get what you are expecting. Guys here are getting 800 to 900 kms with there 5.4l out of a tank but not in the winter.

Once it warms up and your truck gets broke in and learns your driving habits you will get better milage.

I have the eco with a 98l tank bought it the end of march last year and I wasn't impressed either with the first few tanks was like you getting 650 to 750 out of a tank ,but on a few trips in the summer I got as high as 950kms out of a few tanks but now that its winter highest I have seen is 775.

So give it a chance to get broke in and relax it is a big truck.

We bought our 4cyl Fusion Sept 30 we were getting over 900 kms out of a tank until winter came with snow tires and colder temps best we have seen now is 825 kms on a tank. Should I take it in?

Depends on what you were doing before you start your trip to if you were jigging around for a few days then went for a long drive it will recalulate dist to empty. We left home one time with 285kms to empty drove 130kms got out for a coffee got back in and still had 285 or better to empty.Told the wife if this keeps up we will need a gerry can to put the gas in becuase the tank will over flow

that would be great if you could, looks like we have very similar trucks. how many km's are on yours. i think the best i have seen going to sunshine on the weekend was 13.2 litres per 100 kms which equates to about 17mpg which was told these trucks get alot better.
