It's been a few months or so; how's the dust situation... and noise?

I had to change mine out last Monday with Napa pads and rotors.
I had the same issue with my Powerstop front rotors, the pads were not making even consistent contact across the rotor surface, the differences in color across the rotor surface was a dead give away. I went to have the rotors turned. Three different parts stores were unable to turn the rotor because they all told me the drilled rotors takes a special cutting head. Tossed the Powerstops in the trash and went with AC Delco professional rotors and pads. The wear pattern on the rotors indicate consistent even pad application across the rotor surface.

I've said it in another thread, but Powerstop has THE best marketing. People just lap that **** up.

I stick with Wagner, Centric or Raybestos. Never had an issue. Not saying Powerstop is no good though, most of the time uneven wear is simply due to a pad getting stuck in the slider. I grease up the ear slides when I rotate tires.

i put on powerstop pads and rotors less than a month ago and they are coming off this weekend. in 2 days of light driving (my round trip commute to work is about 2 miles) my silver wheels look golden from all the dust. they are crap.

I just put my summer tires on recently and checked my pads. At just over 50,000 km (~30,000 miles) I have lots of life left. The wife's vehicle is a different story - her van has just under 120,000 km and is due for it's fourth set of brakes!

Completely onboard with you here. I invested multiple hours trying to get the Powerstops to work properly. Completely dissembling the calipers, cleaning, wire brushing any corrosion, dirt, impediments from the slider mounts, guides, mating surfaces. Took sand paper to the pads, brake cleaned everything. Greased the pad backs and ears, pins. No noticeable change in outcome. So I ended the relationship and glad I did.

I have another set of Powerstop rotors on a Mini Cooper S that when opportunity has it they will be gone as well.

The wear pattern on my current AC Delco rotors/pads is polar opposite of the Powerstops. I now have an even, consistent pad wear across the face of the rotor, just as it should be.
