Default Brakes Sticking

When I am driving the truck (2013 FX4 with 38k miles) and stop at a light, when I let off the brake pedal and start to accelerate, it feels like the brakes are sticking very briefly before they fully release. The wife and I both have felt it happen. Not every time - but more often than I'd like.

Sound like I'm due for normal maintenance? Or something I should check on my own first? Thanks!

Are you stopped on a hill when this happens? The truck will hold the brakes on a hill to keep you from rolling back. It will hold until you pull foreword or for 4 seconds. Try it and see if that is what you are feeling.

That's normal my truck does it to. It's called hill start assist it will do it in both reverse and drive, it only has to be a small incline, mine does it every time I pull out of my car shed.

That's gotta be what it is. Very very slight grades though when it happens sometimes...totally forgot about that feature. Thanks!
