Default Brake & Rotor Upgrade Advise Needed

I'm sure the answers are here but with my feeble search skills I can't put it together.

Its time for a brake job and want a good product but not ridiculously expensive. Lets keep it under $500/set.

I'm not sure yet if I only need fronts or rears too. But I know the fronts are wearing on one side really bad. They were turned @ about 8,000 miles after the dealer f'd them up and that was their fix. Jeeezzz.

Anyway its a 2013 Eco SCREW. I haul 5K lbs about once every 60 days give or take. Rest is normal driving although a lot of it.

Thanks in advance

If you don't mind wrenching, you can get a quality set of cross drilled rotors and ceramic pads for less than $500.

Yes I know this most are under $300 but didn't want to close out any reasonable options.

Think TAP auto has front and rear sets of rotors and pads for $500 shipped. Look in vendor section.

I just put ebc front brakes on my truck for towing, love the stopping power, but the brake dust is a bit more excessive than I was thinking, got them from summit racing. Just have to clean my wheels more now.

I use EBC slotted and dimpled rotors and EBC green stuff pads. I got them from AJUSA and got a discount for being a forum member too. They stop better and I don't notice any brake dust, but I also wash my truck regularly. I've got about 75000 miles on them and they are still in great shape.

Anyone running bigger wheels/tires that upgraded? I could use some more stopping power with the bigger treads, especially towing. Debating if upgrading the rotors are worth it.
