Default Brake peddle pulse with wipers on?

I’ve noticed when my wipers are activated I can feel a slight pulse in the brake peddle. This is most noticeable when I’m stopped at a light and my foot is resting on the brake peddle but I can also feel it when I’m driving around with the wipers on. It’s no big deal but I’ve never felt this on any other car I’ve owned. Has anyone else noticed this and do you know why it is?

Thanks!

Hi Joel C and silverbulletfx,

If it's worrying you, you can always have your dealership take a look. They'll perform an inspection and ensure everything is operating within spec. If not, they'll provide you with recommendations for next steps. As always, feel free to PM me if you need my assistance following an appointment. All I need is a PM from you with your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, mileage, and servicing dealership.

Crystal

Not to worry Joel, it's a normal thing. Mine had done the same since new, and after 15 months nothing bad has happened.

I love that you are here to help, but have you actually had to bring your f150 to ford? As you know dealers are independently owned, in my experience most don't care enough to help you, "It's normal, performing within spec, no fault found, no codes, they all do it... " just some of the things I hear every visit. I know you don't represent Canada, but your counterpart isn't very helpful. What is your procedure with members after as less then satisfactory visit to a dealer?

Kid, I hate to hear stories like this because I know these dealers can do better. My dealer has me spoiled. The service dept. always goes above, and beyond to make sure I'm happy with their service. They call when they say they will, get parts in a timely manner, and have in the past done the job correctly the first time. I wish you luck. If only you could get to my neck of the woods here in North Carolina.
