The one with the blue readout is correct. Now installed in my 2009. It really does comunicate with the truck after dealer programs it. If I use the slider brake lever with no trailer connected I get a loud warning beep and a message on the dash "trailer is disconnected"

All I know is the OEM Ford Brake Controllers work very well!

It's very easy to install yourself. Less than 5 minutes. Watch the video in post 17 to see install of aftermarket TBC. The factory unit is even easier.
Print posts 12 and 13 to show to dealer service dept. TBC won't work until they connect their computer to truck and program it. My dealer did not have a clue until I showed him posts 12 and 13.

Just installed my IBC, it took about 5 min. very easy. Ordered it last week for $215.00. Now to have a dealer to turn it on. Anyone know of a dealer near Chattanooga, TN that has done this before?

that was TBC not IBC
