2013 F150 turns over but won’t start
I wish I had a more enjoyable post to share.
This morning was quite cold (hovering around zero F) and I had my truck parked in driveway. I fired up the truck with my auto start and proceeded to scrape the windows. Afterward I went into the garage for a few minutes. When I returned the truck was off. I restarted and soon a low oil pressure message appeared along with battery indicator. The truck promptly fizzled out and died. It will not restart despite cranking over, even after leaving for several hours (now has warmed to 20 F). If I had to guess it seems like a fuel issue.
I checked fuse 27 for the fuel pump since a lot of people seem to have that go out. It appears to be good although I haven’t tested it. I tested the battery with a load tester and it is reading “good” under test load and open circuit voltage in acceptable range despite being old (possibly original battery).
Any likely suspects? I hope to not need a tow to the dealership but that is looking more likely!
thanks for any help

How much fuel do you have in your tank and are you parked on level ground? I've had a few F150s get towed in for no starts due to running low on fuel and sitting on an incline nose down. My truck doesn't like to stay running on my steep driveway when I'm below a 1/4 tank, once or twice I've had to roll it down to level ground to start it.

I will run to the parts store (literally run, haha) and pick one up.
This very well could be it. Tank is almost empty, maybe 45 miles left and gas light was on. Truck is also parked on my inclined driveway with the nose down! I thought about this, but figured I had to have at least 5 gallons left in the tank based on refilling only 30gal once I usually hit the gas light.
I probably don’t dare drop it down the driveway since that would put me in the middle of the street. Maybe I can just give it 5 gallons gas. Guess I’m going for a hike with a gas tote.

Haha well what a lesson that was. Two trips to the gas station with a 5 gallon pail and I’m just over 1/4 tank. Fired up and ran rough for a bit until the fuel started flowing good.
hopefully this thread is useful to someone else. Also, a tip of my own: To use a gas can you need to locate the smoked white pour spout under the back seat. It’s about 6” long. Stick that down your gas “Easy Fuel” spout. Otherwise gas goes all over the $&@ place! Don’t ask how I know this :-)
thanks again!

That's a lot of learning for one day!
BTW, fuse 27 issue is not about whether the fuse is broken, it is the fuse burning the box. Replacing the fuse is not the answer.
