Box side paint question
#21
I only had my truck for two weeks and I pulled off the side of the road and parked the truck on some rubber mat that had somehow attached itself to my front pass. tire, when I went to leave the mat, covered in rocks, hit my door, fender flare, and fender, scratching the hell out of it. I went to the shop right after to see how much it would cost to get repainted and he quoted 600. 300 for the door and 300 for the fender. I was so mad.. ended up going to the insurance place to see if it would be covered and it was, under comprehensive. I got the door and fender repainted and fender flare replaced and didn't pay a dime and my insurance didn't go up. The total bill was right over 900.. might want to check with your insurance company.

Well I talked to my insurance agent today and anything under 1000 is on my wallet so there goes that idea. I went to two body shops this afternoon and got quotes. One being 400 and the other 680. So I'm gonna try and buff them out tomorrow and go from there
