I highly discourage drilling the roof. Here's two pics showing a better mounting way using pop rivets in the door sill. You could easily fab up some brackets if you don't want to pay $200 for the ADD ones.

Why? There is plenty of good info I've shared.
Because one person might not have all the answers. It's possible someone might also have good info that didn't see this post since the board moves so fast. I'm not ready to buy just yet, so I wanted to see if anyone had any input that hadn't been mentioned yet.

There are only two options. The ADD style as shown above ( most popular) and the style where you drill through the roof. My OLB mounts are identical to the ADD as far as mounting goes. There is some flex to the mounts. And again, it's super simple to find some clean little spacers to use to get the light bar to mount perfectly to the roof mounts if they're not quite long enough.
