New thing I learned today playing with the touch stuff. You cannot have the heated seats on with the car not running. buuuurrrrr

I like MyFordTouch. So much more user friendly than the non-nav hard button slew I have now. To change the AUX source without voice commands you have to hit "menu" then scroll down to "select source", then you have to scroll some more till you get to "Bluetooth Audio" then as soon as you get out of the truck, then get back in you have to do it all over again lol

I just hope it's not as buggy as previous Fords, but I have confidence.

That touch radio looks cool. Wonder how many people will be swayed a bit by that to move to the more expensive trim package. I'd be bummed if I got a 2013 xlt and it didn't come with latest and greatest radio system.

Have to say I have mixed feelings about all the MyFordTouch stuff still but I am a very bias party. I come from the world of carpcs so I am use to touch screens with all kinds of features. With this I am impressed with a stock offering but at the same time very sad at what they limited it to.

Like on the very simple side why didn't they put a gauge screen. Same way I am sad the center screen doesn't have MPH or something else even remotely interesting to put up there besides MPG. The touch response is also a bit laggy at times. Even when using hardwired buttons.

If you want to get to the real crazy make it a wireless client that can connect to my phone's hotspot. Let me get my weather, stream pandora, traffic, etc from that vs paying for sync services (haven't even looked up it's cost yet) or streaming audio like pandora over a crappy BT connection.

But again, this is from an ultra picky person who has been doing this as a hobby for years and wrote software for it. It was almost a reason for me to get a 2012 but this is now my "family car" as I have a baby on the way and the GTO can keep the crazy toys.

For anyone curious carpc in the GTO

It a beauty of a truck. Congrats. I see your luck is like mine, it rains right after I get a new vehicle home. Heck, it sometimes rains on the way home.

I spent a good hour at the dealership the other day messing with the MFT and I love it. Much better than the interface in the 09-12 MY in my opinion
