Thumbs up Borla Atak Installed on my 2013 FX4

Got my Borla Atak catback installed this morning, other than the directions telling you all you need is a 10 and 15mm socket (LMAO), the old comes out easy and the new goes back in with out much trouble. Hardest part was getting the tips to line up, had to tighten the passenger add-on hanger so it's tipped towards front of vehicle to raise the passenger side exhaust tip. Borla needs to update instructions to say you need a 13, 15, 17, 19, and 21 mm socket, would of made getting up and down from under the truck so much better. Anyways, here are pics.

Looks good but with the pipes that close to the bumper you might get some un wanted feedback every time you hit a bump in the road. I'd adjust them down at least half an inch if you can.

I'd really like them down about a half inch. The right side (passenger side) is easy to drop a half inch, the driver side I can't get any lower. If I undo everything and twist the muffler a bit, I can probably re-adjust. I may do that later on, I've taken it for a ride on several bumpy roads, did have some unwanted feed back on the passenger side so I dropped it a tiny bit. Seems to be ok for now.

I would adjust them lower as well. I saw two cat back 150's that had the paint blistering above the pipe.

I was having trouble getting the driver side to drop at all, it's only 1/8 inch from touching but hasn't been hitting. I took it all loose, still nothing, can't get it any further away. Finally resorted to bending the hanger to force it to drop, now got both sides dropped another 1/2 inch, so sitting about 5/8 from the bumper.

Got them down a half inch more, a long crow bar to bend the hanger slightly was what it took, loosening it all apart and moving things around resulted in nothing better, lol. Glad I got more clearance now.

Enjoy that ATAK system...I love mine. Did you powdercoat or just spray the tips? I like that look. Might have to make that change in the near future.
