So take the flashing of brights as your OBVIOUS hint (which you obviously got) that something
you have on is blinding people. I would bet $100 it's not your Factory certified OEM HID's either.
You can check the beam alignment yourself to be 100% sure, but I'll wager $20 it's the LED's.....

So consider taking the aftermarket LED Foglights out that are probably scattering too much light.
The samething happens when fools put HID bulbs into Halogen housings and scatter light obliviously.
One day it could end up blinding a mother driving her kids ........so exercise some judgement here.

Drive safe.
I completely agree with you, but you can't fix stupid so unfortunately it is what it is. I see more and more people who drive with LED bars turned ON when on the road. I'm gonna start shining my million candle power spotlight right on the driver soon. I'm getting sick of these punks that don't know what they are doing.

Probably F-15fdy boyz driving these things...

I installed factory GM fog lights on my last GMC and I got flashed until I aimed them.

They were blinding on comers.

People buy things for aesthetics, more then function these days....which is cool if that is your thing. However, being irresponsible and not making sure they are DOT or road legal and using them anyways is where the problem is.

I tell my wife all the time if I was a cop, I'd solve alot of budget issues with illegal headlight, foglight, and tail light mods. As a motorcycle rider in both scenes we have to keep tabs on drivers more then most, and when lights blind drivers.....it's more dangerous for riders. Combine that with texting.......it's getting nuts.

By the way OP, I'm not baggin on you......at least you had the sense to recognize people's irritation and inquire. I have to flash my brights at people in my F150 even......probably 2-3x at night going to work. I'm no old man withers either....lol

It's guys like you that I keep my 3.5 million candle power spotlight plugged in and at the ready! Gotta be ready for a Jagoff when he tries to blind me.

Sounds like someone really needs to chill :-P

Factory HID's on mine and I get flashed all the time at night without the fogs on. Everything's stock on mine and no levelling.

I'm in the country and it's extremely dark at night around here with no street lights anywhere but don't know if that's an issue or not.

Its guys like YOU that I keep my .40 ready for. Because you think lights are too bright, you decide to wager someones life because your pissed? Watch for my truck when you do that, gonna be more than lights going into your windows.

And I have OEM HID with halogen fogs and never get flashed, and use fogs all day every day.

No because you flip on non dot approved if someone flashes you. I never get flashed in my truck only my Solara convertible lol.

And if you run oem fogs then you are probably not someone who is going to get flashed. I am not sure why someone would even run the fogs with the hid's they are different color and practically useless....
