I've got my wife's 2011 fx4 torn apart trying to find which actuator is clicking. I can pin point it!! When she's got the ac on, the passenger side blows outside air temp, drivers side blows cold. Anyone know which of these damn things I need to replace? 2011 fx4 screw dual climate center shift console

I would try to replace the P/S blend door actuator first that part shouldn't be that expensive or time consuming and go from there

If you have it all torn apart, why not replace them all? 3 of them right? $15-$20 each and you can rest assured you probably won't have to replace any of them anytime soon.

Well I took the one behind the radio out, it didn't appear to be the problem. So I continued on to the one under everything.... I had no choice but to replace it by the time I got it out, it was pretty destroyed. Haven't gotten to try to put it back in yet. It got dark on me, so now her truck is gutted in the driveway and we have thunderstorms all day today..... Great

Hate to say it, but from what the symptoms are, it should be the one on top of ductwork between the radio and the glove box. The lower one controls the drivers side I believe. Found this picture helpful when troubleshooting my issue. BTW the dual climate control has 4 actuators, 2 blend doors, 1 for vent mode, and 1 for recirc.

I don't doubt that but it is what it is now lol. How the hell do I plug the new one back in now??
