That's a good story!! Well there's not much money in it yet...funny though, the Kenwood media player thing is going in tmrw. I actually got a rear and forward camera!! Maybe I'll do better hunting out of it!

I'm here in Ohio also, and I just picked up my 2011 LT 3.7 2wd last month. Thing is, I bought mine out of spite because my wife bought a truckload of stuff from an online auction. Luckily I asked to borrow my brother-in-laws truck to pick the stuff up. 2003 Ram crew cab. Back seat was full from floor to roof. Bed was full. We had to give some stuff away in the parking lot of the auction pick-up site because we were out of room. She never told me beforehand exactly how much she had bought. I was not thrilled, and on the way home I said, "I don't want to hear a word when I go out and buy a truck." Two days later, I had a truck, lol

I probably have as much $ in my truck total, as what you have in mods! You do have a nice ride though.

So I've kinda been looking at them...but what's the best one to get? Once the tunes are gone, can you send it back to get more put on it for a discounted price?

Not sure what you mean by "once the tunes are gone". The tune doesn't go anywhere. If you have more custom tunes than the device will hold, just save them on your computer, then you can move them back and forth. But realistically, one you find a tune you like, you will rarely change it.

If you mean the number of "marries" then I'm not sure. Once you load tunes on your truck, the tuner is now married to your truck and can't be used on another vehicle. You can change tunes on your truck as many times as you like. If you return the truck to stock AND unmarry it from the tuner, you can now use it on another vehicle. You have now used 1 marry (I think SCT calls them "unlocks"). This is what's limited. I believe my SCT has 5 unlocks available, (4 remaining since it's on my current truck).

So...I see some say 5-9 tunes? So I thought once you changed a tune... say from 87 performance to 93 performance, then you couldnt go back. unless you had more left...but i think i was looking at it wrong. If it says 9 tunes, it must mean 9 different tunes? that you can switch back and fourth anytime you want on that truck? I guess i was thinking they had 5-9 times on any truck then they were spent, like a quarter in an arcade machine I was thnking that was the way they kept everyone from sharing... i didnt know they became "married" to the truck. That makes sense... I think

SCT X4 is probably the most popular on for our trucks. Stage 3 Motorsports will most likely give you a discount if you mention you are a member here. They also use Five Star to write the tunes. Both the company and the tuner are safe. MPT, Unleashed, and SSI are also companies that write tunes for the SCTX4. Do some research on the different options and pick the one that fits what you want out of your truck.
