Default Blank in Gauge mode.

I've been meaning to ask this question for almost 4 years.
When you click on the Gauge Mode where the first screen is the transmission temperature, then move it over one more to the right and that screen is blank.
Is everyone's like mine?
I can't remember if I've ever checked with a trailer, because it's trans temp first.

Yes, that is so you can have a screen that doesn't distract you. Mine is usually on this screen. Also stops worry about gas mileage.

I would think there would be a way to add some of the additional functions the computer uses to that screen by way of a tuner or something like that, but nothing so far as I know, just a wasted screen in my opinion.

And off topic but something I've been wondering but cant find out, to the OP on your FX truck, I know the cluster lights red, what about the rest of the interior? My Lariat everything on the center stack and such is blue, curious if the FX are red.

It was supposed to have Gauges in it, like oil temp, intake air temp, boost, etc. but they had accuracy issues with it and ended up scrapping it I am still hopping that we can figure out how to get it to work eventually using Forscan.

I do have the Gauges screens in my Mustang though, it is nice.

I bought my '14 this past May and that has been bugging me since day 1. Thanks for asking the question!

I thought if you have the compass screen, there are then 3 screens. Still including Blank.

If you have the MFT Navigation, then the Compass screen is turned off as there is no actual compass in the truck, the Radio uses the GPS module and truck movement to estimate heading.

If you do not have navigation, then you have that third compass screen since you actually have a compass is in your rear-view mirror that it can get a signal from.

You can always add the compass screen though and the associated parts if you get ambitious and have the extra cash and time. Not really sure why you would want to but I the total cost would be under $100. I do believe you have to fully drop the headliner though which is a pain.

I have a '13 FX4 with MFT. No navigation. I don't have a compass there in the dash. Should I? I do have one in the radio, though.

My truck also gives me coordinates of it. Wonder if I can turn GPS on? It's a Canadian truck
