Default Black tail lights

Has anyone had any experience with the blacked out tail LED lights at protuninglab.com?

I have a 2014 Black FX4 and am considering some.

I got these. Came with built in resistors so they don't hyper flash

I have a few questions for ya...when you have time.

I assume the cost is per light?

How long have you had them?

Are you happy with the quality?

Do you have a picture of what they look like on your truck?

How bright are the parking lights?

How bright are the brake lights during the day?

I have eBay ones as well. Cheap, look good and fit just like OEM.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2009-2014-FO...dV6iF6&vxp=mtr

or look on ebay for Crystal Black headlights or tail lights. Good price to get rid of chrome if you ask me + not have to paint the edges! Especially since you can make half of this back on selling your old ones.

(Note: Mine are black, NOT smoked. But there are tons of those out there obviously. )

I am satisfied with them. The LEDs are admittedly a little toughter to see from the side on a bright day. Sometimes I can't tell if my remote start signal was immediately received. Had them since end of last summer I believe.

My headlights are just as good. However, there is no longer a super bright orange housing. It is a whitish housing as you'll see in the ebay link. Ultimately, I still like more over OEM.

Its for the complete set, driver and passenger side.
Had them about 2 months and no problems or condensation on inside
I love them and the quality of them, transforms the rear of the truck completely imo
The lights are pretty bright during day and night, definitely better than stock, only bad thing is the little bit of tint makes it hard in reverse even with my led reverse lights hence why I'll be swapping my 30" light bar from my grill to on my hitch (I also have 10% tint lol)
I can get more pics whenever if you need some

No experience with protuninglab's LED tail lights.

I installed the Recon smoked tail lamps. Installed about 7 months ago and have had no problems.

The Recon tail lamps did not fit exactly like the OEM lamps, but fit well enough. I had to do a little touch-up where the OEM lamps had rubbed off the paint and of course that was not noticeable until I installed the Recon tail lamps.

The Recon tail lamp brightness is good, maybe a little too bright. The brake lamp brightness, not so much, which is a little disappointing. I was expecting more of a difference in the brightness between the tail lights and brake lights.

The Recons are DOT approved.

I purchased the lights from Stage 3 Motor Sports. The cost was $320 for the set with no tax and no shipping charges.
