Default Black FX-4 6 Inch Zone Susp Lift, 20x10 Fuels, Toyo AT2's

So I'm just about done with the redo on my truck... Here's a pic from yesterday... Zone 6 Inch Lift which works out closer to a 5... but still gets the job done, Ride is amazing... no difference than stock and no 6 inch spacer up front... It comes with new 6 inch longer front struts and upgraded Nitro Rear Shocks which make the ride amazing... Fuel Hostage 20x10 (-12) wheels, wrapped in 35x12.50x20 Toyo AT2's... Love the look of the tires just quite loud for AT's... Raptor Black Housed Headlights and Tail Lights... Dipped F150 emblems and Nerf Bars, Wrapped Ford Logo's with Lime Green Ovals and Ford... Ford Projector Logo Lights in the doors, 22 inch LED bar in the Lower Grille, 4 inch LED Pods for buck up lights, Power Tail Gate Lock, LED Bed lights on a Merc Switch in the tailgate... BakFlip Tonneau, 20% Tint, DDM 6000k Hids top and bottom, LED Interior Lights, SoundStage Kicker Complete System Upgrade from Rogel Ford, It was time to start looking for a newer truck but didn't really like anything out there as much as my FX4 so I renewed my love for it with some new goodies... The lift and New wheels n tires... Loving it once again... I've got the black wrap here to wrap the bottom and loose the grey rockers, and some tow mirrors and i think she'll be done...

First off, great looking truck.

Would you mind elaborating a bit on the Toyo noise? I'm about to get 305/55/20 AT2's early next week and haven't heard of many noise complaints about them.

Looks awesome dude, the zone kit is a solid contender I hear. If I'm not mistaken they are a BDS subsidiary.

Made in the same place by the same people. Zone has a 1 year warranty, BDS is a lifetime NO BS warranty. You break it or wear it out they replace it.

I read they were quiet and I love the look of this tire far more than anything out there... but anything above 40 they make noise and get louder the faster you go... They are bad enough I'm prolly taking them back and getting Terra Graps which I don't like the look of... Discount Tire has a satisfaction guarantee and price matches... if you don't like them bring them back... but the noise is a higher pitch than an MT more of a road noise like you would get from a cheap street tire... My wife is in the truck 80% of the time and it's hard to me to carry on a conversation i've found i'm turning the radio twice as loud as I used to with someone in the truck and having to raise my voice to chat... and people even hear it on the bluetooth to where I need to actually hold the phone to talk... it's not insane loud but deff to loud for me... My Hankook ATM's and my Wild Peaks were way way quieter... to the point I say they made no noise... IF they made the Hankook Dynapro ATM in my size... they would be on the truck... but a 35 12.50 in an AT is hard to find... These AT2's, BFG's which I know are loud, and a Terra Grap is all i've found...

I was told that yesterday, i was under the impression it was a small company that just didn't like any lifts out there and designed and made a better product?
not sure though...

first of all, great looking truck. very well done.

second, I've had Toyo AT's in a variety of sizes on several different vehicles and they've always been just about the quietest AT I could find. you should have them check balance and alignment before you dismiss the tire.. just a thought.

also, yes, Zone is made under the same company as BDS but has a different warranty.

Left the tire shop and went straight for an alignment from a friend, I was under the truck with him everything is back in spec... the rear was bolted together a tick off there's a small amount of toe but that shouldn't affect the noise level. Tires ride smooth no bounces once they warm up, sitting overnight i feel a slight flat spot for the first couple of miles... second day they were rotated to see if the noise change cause one was louder than the rest it quieted down to the level of the others when it got on the front and got some weight... if I keep them they will be replacing that tire but the noise level is just to loud... I actually just sent an email to Toyo to see what their opinion is and if they want to ship out another set to try... because I really do like the tires... so i'll give them a chance... but I just can't deal with the noise... Like I said before my Hankooks and Faulkens were both AT's with a super low noise level if you listened for it you could hear a little something but it didn't interrupt driving the truck I had no issue jumping in and taking a 6 or 8 hours road trip these... I frown if I have to get on the interstate to ride to the next exit...
