Thanks! I agree with the Chrome accents. If I had the painted bumpers I think the black might look better.

Largely depends on what age group those you ask fall into! Id be willing to bet the 30-somethings and younger will all vote black!

The 40-somethings and up will largely vote chrome!

I'll never go back to chrome, I'll do either black or a machined aluminum wheel for now on. Good luck to you though, just build what you love. At the end of the day that's all that matters.
BMF wheels are SICK! Problem is i also always get SICK when i see the price!

Nice truck!

^^^And this is the answer to the OP question!

FX2/4s have no chrome so leave the chrome to the xlt's and limited's!

An Fx4 requires black or black/machine!

Nice trucks keep them pics coming!

jfcplayers truck is best looking truck in this thread IMO

Although I really like the BMF wheels too

I vote black. Chrome doesn't look bad black is better IMO plus easier to take care of.

Exactly! We're all added aftermarket wheels because we don't want our trucks to look like every other truck on the road.

To me, there are only a few colors that look right with black wheels. That would be black, white and red.

I do think Ford over-chromed our trucks. That is why I went with machined aluminum wheels. It definitely toned it down some. Putting on a smoked Recon third brake light today.

Alright....I'll budge.

Chrome wheels are fine as long as you don't add crap cheap chrome accents on the truck. You bought an FX4, it has no chrome and adding any accents won't do you or your truck any good.

This includes:
pepboy's chrome door handle covers
King ranch/Lariat/XLT grille
pepboy's chrome mirror covers
generic chrome rocker panel covers

and of course, my personal favorite: chrome b-pillar covers

The list above is the perfect way to rice out a trim that many people seem to do around where I live, They're tasteless idiots IMO. You buy an FX4, you keep it an FX4 and that's that. Regardless of this, I'd go black wheels.
