The reason I am using an aftermarket radio is because my STX lacks steering wheel controls, therefor I would have had to relocate the entire center console in order to retain volume controls as well as source options. Also whenever I do not have the iPad in dash it will allow me to still have satellite, cd, radio, and USB/aux inputs as well as Bluetooth. So there was much thought to this I wouldn't depend on only having an iPad as my media source.

Also, sorry I will not be posting any pics or updates today the weather here is nasty and raining today but looks like Wednesday I will get back to it. Thanks for the interest guys. I'll keep ya posted.

Things have been overwhelmingly busy at work and I haven't been able to do much else to this install, I have the concept of how it will fit as well as function. I will have a good walk through of steps by the end of the week.
