Default birthday present ideas

hello all,

so... my birthday is coming up and my lady wants to buy me something for my truck. I didn't want to just come out and say "get me this" so i thought it would be cool if you guys made some suggestions on what would be a cool bday gift

my truck: 2013 xlt 2wd 5.0 supercrew with the short bed.

thanks in advance!

performance wouldn't be bad, though it is a brand new truck so not really interested in a tuner (warranty and everything). Appearance wouldn't be bad, though I am going with chrome vs ptm/black out , sooooo too much chrome would be a bad thing!

haha toddman, yes... we shall see how much she truly loves me! ::babe, I know you're reading this ::

I would say either some LED lights for your footwells (Installs in about 10-30 min, depends on how quick you find the correct wire) or under rail LED bed lights, should be another simple and quick install. Both can be completed under 50 bucks.

If she wants to spend some money, upgrade your speakers. A lot of guys on here have bought the Infinity Kappa speakers and like them. I have some Rockford Fosgates in mine that I really am pleased with.

Window deflectors are a nice touch.

If you go through automatic carwashes you should be taking your antenna off. A low profile antenna is nice too. I got mine at Pepboys for about 15 bucks I think.

floormats (maxspider3D or whatever they're called), mudflaps, wheel well liners, material to make a custom storage box for under the back seat (MDF, carpet, etc), truckballs (please don't).

Glossy B pillar covers, rear fender well liners.

Cheaper mods and both function and look great.
