Default Bilstein 5100's on 2014 - what do I need?

As the title states, what all do I need to lift the front of my truck with Bilsteins on a 2014?

Sounds easy enough! I just check Bilsteins website and it says they don't currently have shocks for a 2014 FX4 6.2...What gives?

Don't rush right out and buy some Billies just yet. The front lower shock mounts are different on the 2014. Some 2014 owners have changed out their lower control arms (which have the lower shock mounting points) with LCAs from 2009-2013 trucks.

The 5100s for the 09-13s are in back order so finding them for the 14s is impossible due to then not even being released.

You will either need to wait for the 14 5100s to come out or get 13 LCAs and wait for the 09-13 5100s to get off back order.

We are developing a pin that will allow the 09-13 Bilstein 5100 shock work on the 2014.

OK, you guys made me look:
http://www.bilsteinus.com/fileadmin/...WebArticle.pdf

I'm running Bilstein 5100s on my lifted Jeep TJ and really prefer them to Rancho 9000 I ran on it for many years before. Until now, I wasn't aware of these leveling shocks. Any down side to installing 'em? Seems spending won't stop anytime soon after my new F150 Scab FX4 6.2 arrives...

You need patience... Even after Bilstein designs the shocks for the '14 models, there always seems to be a back order. Took 5 weeks to get the 5100's for my '13 F150....worth every penny and every hour spent waiting. I love the way this truck rides on the 5100s.
