Default Bilstein 5100 rear question

was planning on putting on 3 inch blocks on the back. Do i need a longer Bilstein to do this? All the of stores just list one shock for rear on a 2013 33-187501 4wd 0-1" lift

Where are you putting the 5100s? On the front?

If you have 4wd then this shock should accommodate the additional lift.

I think I understand this now. Bilstien doesn't make a shock that will accommodate your lift plans. I think your stock blocks are 1.25". If you put on 3" blocks, you'll need a shock for a rear 1.75" lift. Here's a link for rear 2" lift shocks...

My Fabtech lift kit came with Bilstien fronts but dirt logic rear shocks. Seems like Bilstien tends to focus on fronts where it counts.

Call Alex at http://www.f150lifts.com/ if it exists, he probably knows about it or will find out.

By the way, replacing the stock shocks with Bilsteins made a huge difference on my truck.
