Bilstein 5100 or Fox 2.0
I'm considering getting new shocks for my 2013 F150 XLT 4x4. I don't know much about aftermarket suspension upgrades, but I would like to know what you have, and your thoughts. I've read through multiple threads, and these 2 options seem to be the most popular. Also I do have the front lifted with a ready lift 2" spacer. Will this affect the shock or be a problem? Thanks in advance.

I really don't know anything about aftermarket suspension either, I'm curious to if having a 2 inch level and a 3 inch block in the back causes problems. Or would the level be pointless with these shocks?

You can't run the bilsteins 5100's or fox 2.0's with a leveling kit unless you set the billies at stock height and same goes with the 2.0's. You would be better off removing the leveling kit all together though and just run either the billies or 2.0's. The nice thing with either of those is they limit the down travel so you won't over extend the front suspension like you do with the spacer's. Helps save's the ball joints. The ride will be a bit more firm though, but I love the the billies have treated me thus far on the 1.5" setting.

I was waiting for the Bilstein 6112's, but they are taking too long. I have run 5100's in the past with good results. This time though, I ordered up the Fox 2.0's for the rear. I haven't ordered fronts yet as I may step up to 2.5's.
You will pull the 2" spacers for either option. From what I have read the Fox's are a slightly more "compliant" ride.

I went with the 5100's front and rear on my truck...almost 25K miles on the shocks with no problems. Fronts set at 1-1/2 inches. Ride is firmer then stock but in a good way...truck handles better.
Still have a little rake for towing and could clear 34's easily..my 33's look a little small but are great for daily driving and I still get up to 20 mpg on the hwy.

I just left my local 4x4 shop and they said the spacer will have no influence on the shock. The shock does not lift the truck. It's job is absorption and ride quality.

Complete Front Coilover Kit for your F150 that adds 2" of Leveling
Throwing a set of coilovers onto your truck in place of your factory shock and spring is one of the best ways to help get your F150 prepped for the trail, and FOX makes one of the most effective and affordable F150 adjustable coilover kits on the market. This pair of FOX 2.0 coilovers have an adjustable ride height from 0" to 2" of lift, making them an effective leveling system that also gives your F150 a huge increase in suspension performance, especially off-road. The coilovers come pre-set at 2" out of the box to give you maximum ride height. FOX designs each of their 2.0 coilovers from the ground up to get you maximum performance, improved response, and much greater articulation than your factory hardware to give your truck a leg-up on your competition after the pavement ends.
Built for Performance and Reliability
2009-2013 F150 4WD Fox 2.0 Front Coilover Each FOX 2.0 coilover is built around a tough aluminum-body, nitrogen-charged coilover shock that's wrapped with a finely-tuned spring that work together to provide excellent suspension performance off-road without compromising your truck's smooth street ride. Both the body and mounts are made with 6061-T6 aluminum to maximize heat dissipation without losing strength. The coilovers feature a 5/8" chrome-plated, heat-treated shaft with a high-flow piston design and valving that's finely-tuned for your F150. The coilover has an internal reservoir design that keeps the specially formulated oil separate from the nitrogen. The 2.0 coilovers have high-quality, redundant seals that make them extremely reliable under even the most extreme conditions.
2014 F150 Fitment: this kit will not have proper, bolt-on fitment to a 2014 F150 due to changes Ford made to the 2014's front suspension. Call 1-877-578-2433 for more information.

I'm not shilling for Stage 3, they happened to be who popped up on google. Lots of forum vendors on here that can hook you up.
