My thoughts exactly. I have a Cummins 4BT in my CJ-7 Jeep for nice weather, and had an old Benz diesel. Friends were surprised when I got a gasser F150.

-Diesel option costs quite a bit more.
-Diesel takes twice as long to warm up (NY winter, I want HEAT).
-Diesel mileage is not THAT much better than gassers.
-Diesel parts are $$$
