BFG's or TOYO

Welp time for new tires, I am running toyo open country MT's currently. So I am looking for intel on the BFG KM2's or just sticking with toyo. :help:

Honestly if you like the TOYO's stick with them. You won't go wrong with the BFGs either.
IMO as long as you go with high end brand (which I consider both) you aren't really going to go wrong.
You'll get differing opinions because people will usually try to tell you to get what they have (and think are the best) so you'll always get a little bias because of that.
That being said, I have BFG KOs and when they wear out I'll definitely be getting KO2s.

Between the two...BFGs. But if you want a high quality tire for less money, look at Coopers. I had a set of Cooper ST Maxx 33-12.5-r17 tires on my old truck that lasted 57000 miles before I sold it, and it still had 25-30% tread left. And I only paid $189 each for them.

I would steer to the Toyo tires. They have the availability of a P series in most factory sizes for better ride quality.

BFG is the most over-rated company in the tire world.

I've used everything and I'm getting really partial to the Falken tires these days. Man these things are great in every terrain, wear well, and the price can't be beat.

toyo all day long. BFG will never compare.

I have ran BFG AT tires for over 20 years on two vehicles. I got an incredible 89k miles on one set on my compact truck. They are quiet on the road, good in the rain, good off road, and great in the snow.

BF's or Toyo

I agree with 77Ranger, the BF's are good tires. But they are uncomfortable. On paved roads you feel every bump and the doors rattle on the big bumps. I have a set on my 13 SCREW.

agreed with dkonnecticut. All depends what kind of driving you do. Mostly highway, then stick with the toyos

I may be the minority, but I'm not impressed with Toyo's. Mine are the AT's and not MT's like being discussed here, but they are HORRIBLE in the rain or wet roads. It is virtually impossible to take off from a light or a stop and not hit the traction control. Granted my truck is tuned, so that may have something to do with the response, but still.

I've got 25k or so on mine so far and they are wearing great, still look great, and in dry weather and the slight bit of off road driving I do, works great. I can't complain there. But if there is ANY liquid on the road.....forget it.
