Default BFG AT KO--285/65-18 vs 305/65-18

Santa ended up having a little left over so....About to pull the trigger on some new shoes. Torn between these two sizes.
I'm open suggestions, I know the 305's will pull down MPG's more but man do they look sweet- I have not seen any 285's so post pics if you've got'em. Thanks-

I'm looking at the KO AT's in a 275/70R18. They are about 1" skinnier then the 305s and only 0.5" in shorter. The 275s are 33.2 and the 305s are 33.7 tall. I am having a trouble making up my mind between the 275s or the 305s. There is a price difference of almost $400. I would say in your case though, 305/65R18

Stock FX4 wheels and no level or lift? Would it rub?

I have heard of some people running the 275/70R18 with no level with no rubbing. I have a 2" Hell Bent Level that I plan on installing when I get my new tires. I don't know how much clearance is available with the 275s without a level. I could be wrong but I would think for the 305s due to their width you would need the level.

I run 275/70/18 with no level and there is A LOT of room to spare. 295/70/18 would probably look better with a level

275/70/R18 BFG AT/KO will not rub on a stock truck, just over 33" tall. this with a level is perfect IMO, but i only got these because i couldnt afford the 285's

The 305's are 1" taller and look great on a leveled 4x4...if you don't want to level the 285x65x18's would work great. No trouble turning either one with the 3.73's in your truck!

Is your truck leveled? If not the 305's may not clear.
