I am considering buying an ecoboost F150 and would like to know if there are better year models than others or are they all the same. I plan to mod what ever i get with a tuner and basic bolt ons but nothing to drastic.

I have a 2010 5.4L, i'm happy with it but you may want to go with a newer truck for the coyote. 5.0.
the 2013's do have bigger turbo's and intercooler issue is fixed, but if you were to ask me, i'd wait until 2015 before making a huge financial decision like this.
in 15, the new body style is going to arrive and from what I've found online...
ford has shown documentation regarding 1.0L ecoboosts (not for f150's tho)
ford has already posted about f150s to run on natural gas for even bigger economy results.
a few guys I've spoke with, said a 5.0 Ecoboost is going in f150's as well as 5.8L 4v (almost exact to a Shelby GT500) pretty sure it'll be detuned.
don't quote me, go look on google for yourself.
but, if you can buy your time for a year n half, you may be able to walk out ahead of all of us with a new truck that'll outlast what's on the lots today

2011-12 ecoboost turbos are 49mm.
2013-14 ecoboost turbos are 51mm
Hill decent controll available on fx4 on 2013-14
ability to lock the diff in 2wd on 2011+
2013+ interior has that mini screen on the center stack with weird buttons around it. Kinda looks foreign and cheap (personal opinion)
Can't go wrong with any of them tho
