Default bestop supertop

I have been looking for some kind of camper or enclosed topper for my truck bed and I kept coming back to the bestop supertop, so I just ordered one for my 2011 screw from etrailer.com for $624.95 that's the cheapest ive found in days of looking online. Any thoughts on these or do you have one and how is it, im looking forward to unboxing and installing it.

Had one on a 2001 Tacoma and loved it for what it was. It's a compromise solution compared to a hard top, but allows much greater flexibility. You may get some water entering at the corners or seams. I ScotchGuarded the seams on mine, and that stopped that seepage. I had a sleeping platform in the bed and would camp under the soft top without any problems. The top isn't lockable, but short of just cutting it open, a thief would have to know what they were doing to get in. If you use it a lot, you'll get some wear & tear. I had a small tear on the rear window, and I busted a zipper on one of the side windows. I still loved the thing to death, and it remained on the truck until the day it was totaled.

Thanks for the info on the corners and seams.

Bumping this thread to the top to see if anyone else, or the OP, has any more input on these. I'm considering one now and would appreciate any reviews. Thanks.

I had one on my 2013 for about 2 years. I kept it up year round in N.C. and never had issues. I lined the seams with a water sealer (on the inside) and never had any leaks there. The only spot I ever had any water was the bed corners by the tailgate, which I get on my hard shell camper top. I sold it to a buddy who still uses it on his truck with no issues to this day. Well worth the money. I would still have it if I hadn’t found a great deal on a leer. I like the looks of the softtopper a little better, but got this one so I could remover the windows for the dogs. You will be pleased with it.
