I have the edge cs. They are not custom tunable. I personally wouldn't even bother with a custom tune. My performance shop guy told me that the tunes it came with isn't much diff from customs. He said that unless you have a supercharger and headers, you're nothing to notice any diff from a custom tune and the stock device tunes.

72mustang: Here is the page you need. For the tunes, it's $30 per tune if you buy the programmer from them and $60 per tune if the programmer was purchased else where. Once you decide what you want, then go to the Order tab and pick the tunes.

Murderisthegame: It's not exactly switch on the fly, but expect 5-10 minutes to switch between tunes. The programmer is always sitting there on the dash though to do it whenever you want. The CTS is already a touch color display and does 0-60, quarter mile, alerts, OBD scanning, etc; so the TSX really doesn't have much up on it.

They are fully custom tune capable and can hold several true custom tunes for anything from a CAI to a supercharger and nitrous. Your performance shop guy sounds confused. A true custom tune will be a world of difference over canned tunes. We can make an 87 octane tune perform better than the canned 91 octane tune, and that's on a stock truck.

The CS is $439 and the CTS is $589, I don't know where the $299 is coming from? The programmer comes with canned tunes, and custom tunes can be added once you know your HEX code.

It might include a few tunes depending on if they are running a special. If not they are 30 per tune. Honestly I just ran the 87 performance, even while towing a 22 blazer bay boat with a 6 inch lift 35s and stock gears on the truck and it was fine.

No they need YOUR truck's HEX code, which can only be found with the programmer so custom tunes can be made. So you can buy the programmer, play with the canned tunes, and then when you get the custom tunes the real fun begins.

Cool that makes sense, how would I find my HEX code via the programmer?
