My local Line-X place did my 08 FX4 bars. They only charged me $120 and they turned out awesome. The Line-X gives the bars a nice nonskid surface and they stay looking good. I recommend going that route.

If I were you I wold remove the nerf bars and the grille and have someone professionally spray them. They will turn out so much nicer than you doing it yourself. Removing them will save you money and it really shouldn't be that much.

Thanks guys, yeah I might line-x the nerfs, last time I asked they wanted like $225 which is ridiculous. If I can't get it done at a reasonable price I might just end spending 100$ on plastidip this spring and going nuts.

The easier you make it on them the cheaper it will be. See what the prep is and if you do it, how much you will save. Especially if its just scuffing up the metal.
