Default best spray on bedliner for running boards

I have nerfs that I plastidipped, would rather not do it again each spring. What's the best diy spray on liner to use for that ?

Was also thinking about doing my grill insert and winter 'stock 18' fx4 mags.

Want something that will last.

Duplicolor bed armor is pretty good stuff. Either in spray can or brush on. Still may need an adhesion promoter for the chrome. Not sure though.

I used it on my rockers on my 03. Held up decently to my boots hitting it daily.

I used rustoleum bedliner on my chrome steps after I prepped them with self-etching paint. Been a few months and holding up great to the weather and mud.

So something like this

On the stock fx4 mags and chrome nerf bars

And then the bed liner, do you think that would work well? Never used this stuff before and I don't want to ruin my mags..

I sanded my chrome steps down with 320 grit paper ( I think) then sprayed with the etching primer. Honestly I was going to buy steps if this didn't work out so I had nothing to lose, the wheels I have no experience with. I don't see why it wouldn't work if you was careful and taped off everything, but I haven't personally done wheels.
