Finally had the time to mount up my Banks Monster exhaust. This is with the resonator.

I will be ditching the resonator and getting a downpipe in the future. So far I am happy with the exhaust.

Ford makes a lot of very great sounding engines but Ecoboost isn't one of them imo! Cruising over 200 miles yesterday in my Eco I didn't miss my old 5.4 nor it's excellent sounding magnaflow exhaust! I sure didn't miss my 5.4 engines ability to guzzle gas like it was going out of style.
If I can't make the Eco sound like a V8 (I can't) then I prefer to keep it steath and stock. I do not want my truck sounding like all those obnoxious fart cart ricers I hear all the time. A V6 is never going to sound powerful to me so I prefer NOT to hear it at all.
Bottom line to each their own as far as exhaust sound goes………..

Hey Ford Flash 2013... I need to pick your brain... Can you give me the part # of the Borla muffler you used?? I talk to a tech at Borla and he couldn't find any of their mufflers with Dual 4" outlets.... The biggest outlet size is 2 1/2"...for the duals and 3' on a single inlet outlet... How did you get 4" tail pipes?? Or explain how your muffler guy did that... I really like the sound but, I am having a difficult time putting all the right sizes together... Any and all help would be appreaciated

Has anyone tried delete resonator and flex add 18" magnaflo dual port with 2" dual straight out the back?
I plan on trying this on Friday...on my 2014 FX4 ECO...OF course I will be saving the stock setup just in case of major SOUND FAIL, which I when then revert back to the stock resonator, flex and muffler, add in a Y pipe and the straight duals out the back with SS slashed roll tips.......
