Best running boards for 2010 lariat 4x4???

I've been shopping the market for running boards. Not sure but I'm leaning toward automatic, because I do not want to change the look of my truck. Does anyone have any advice on what brand I should buy. The ones I've looked at are about $1000 for a set. Any advice appreciated!!

I'm quite happy with my FX4 running boards. Got the gray, not the chrome. They are un-obtrusive enough that I don't use them, however my (short) wife uses them constantly as does my son.

Get the amps. For me they are in a much better position for easier entry and exit. For a wobbly old man this is great. Plus if you trade you 10 for a newer one later the can be used on the newer one.
