I have owned the Extang revolution and the Bak roll-x. The Extang started to break tabs and fall apart at the seams after only two years. I have had the roll-x for about six months and I really enjoy it. I personally think it is worth the price given the benefits.

You definitely get what you pay for, get a cheap cover and it will suck.

So far for me it's between the truce do low pro qt and the roll-x. I'm leaning towards the truce do because sometime the stuff I put in the back is an odd shape and a little higher then the rim of the bed, on my old truck you could still close it being a soft tonneau and I'm wondering if this will cause issues with the roll-x being hard?

I have had my Access Vanish for about a year now and the velcro is beginning to wareout on the passenger side. It's also no-where near water tight. I know most tonneau covers aren't 100% water tight but my vanish is so bad that we have to put suit cases in garbage bags to keep them dry in the rain.

Yes, it will be an issue. The roll-x has almost no give. It has to fit under it entirely.

Yeah that's what I was afraid of, thanks for clearing that up. Looks like it'll be the Truxedo! Went and checked some out and they looked great!

I get a spray in liner next week, in the meantime ill pick up the tonneau and install it one the liners in. Ill post a picture or two when she's all done!

I did like the Roll-X ability to hold 400lbs of weight when I was moving my sister. Put all her junk in the box, rolled the cover over and then put her box spring and mattress on top. Not sure how the truxedo can handle that, but the roll-x did great

Roll x is a great cover, no problems, and its solid. I have had it for a few months. It stays so dry in the heaviest of rains that I would not be scared to put a bunch of Mogwais in the back!

Just be careful of Truxedo. My coworker has one of their premium models that lays flat with the integrated bars into the vinyl cover. It leaks because it doesn't seal at all on the corners. He had wide gaping holes on the front bulk head corners and the rear (which aren't as important as water will drain into the tailgate gap). Just look it over good to make sure it'll seal the water out. After all, what good is a cover if it leaks, may as well not have one and throw a tarp over your stuff.
