You have to buy a $10 SIM card every 3 months. I figure I'll know within 6-12 months if I'm happy with it. Another plus is if I install this it won't be in the typical areas under the dash where a thief would look first.
Would you mind sharing where you got this one? I'm interested.

Here it is from eBay. I looked at reviews for this on Amazon too. So for $45.00 and a $10 SIM card, seemed worth a try. I wouldn't trust it to cut off my oil or ignition via the supplied relay and wiring, but it does have geofencing capability.

Just get a Delphi unit from vzw or uscc.

I mean... $5/mo if you're on a shared data plan - $150 to buy the unit outright... We bought them outfight.

Plugs into the OBD port, no Sim card in the non-4G models.

Notifies you if anything you want to know about happens. You set the geo fencing, speed limits, and live map of your vehicles location, along with a full history of every movement it has made.

I looked at that too and looks simple to plug in. But if I stole a truck, the first place I would check is for a unit plugged into the OBD port. Plus I like the challenge of stealth wiring and installation.

Here's my most recent sub $50 mod. Actually, it was free!

Friday afternoon, I finally added one of the items I've wanted to do. Changed out the lock in my toolbox with one of the Bolt locks that learns my truck key. I bought it from my local H&H dealer, pretty close to the same price as below.

One less key on my keyring makes me happy! Next up -- hitch pin lock for the same reason!

Default Black Matte FX4 Decals

I was looking for something subtle but I think these decals blend in a little too much. You almost can't even see them from certain angles. May be replacing them. Thoughts?
