This is awesome! Why didn't I think of this?? Can you post the eBay link I'm definitely pulling the trigger on this. One question though, we have a gate to enter our complex. Can the homelink be programmed to open that as well? Can you also show where this wires up to?

Ya they come with 3 programmable buttons & they wire to the power in the vanity mirror- if you do a visor homelink search this mod is all over the forums with pics.

come on kids,
1) go to eBay
2) type homelink module into the search bar
3) move the mouse cursor to the "search" tab
4) exert pressure on the left mouse button

Haven't had much luck searching. All I've found is used parts and junkyard stuff. I thought maybe there was a vendor on ebay selling multiples of these. That's why I asked.
Google was no better. Neither was Amazon. Looks like a business opportunity to me.

You can buy a new module for eventy billiion dollars (hyperbole) or get a perfectly good salvage module for about $30 on ebay.
