I'm sure it's been covered already but here's my grill made from a gutter screen from Home Depot. $3.

you got the ecoboost? Anyone know if this would cause inter cooler issues?

yes it's an ecoboost. I don't see where it would cause any trouble. Your not restricting airflow or anything. Easy to remove to if your worried about warranty issues. If anything I think it would protect your IC from rocks and such.

I agree, but you know a dealer will do whatever they can to avoid warranty claims

Any type of screen blocks airflow some regardless of how big the openings are
