Good idea. I always wondered about iPads in the dash that cannot be taken out. How do you sync it with your computer when you need to to add a movie or more songs instead of downloading them through the ipad? Do most people that have them in the dash have the cellular versions? If not you must have a dedicated wifi hotspot in car? What if you need to reset it if it freezes?

2. Mine's wifi, when I need the data I just hook up a personal hotspot via my iPhone.
3. You can use assistive touch to hard reset the iPad.
