Exactly, and I have them wired to the parking lights so they only come on at night and when I unlock my doors or remote start

They are very bright but definitely for looks only. Haven't really seen them on without the headlights or parking lights on at the same time

I was wondering if they put out any light for driving. I was going to get some and wire them in to the regular headlights.

If you want more function

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/2x-60CM-SMD-S...vxp=mtr&_uhb=1

They are white like mine and also hooked up to your turn signal so they will flash orange.

Super simple to wire, 3 wires are on your parking light harness. And 3 wires on the led strips.. You got a test light or multimeter?
