Time fetching or purchasing materials + the time to do it. Not out the question if you ask me to buy a part that specifically designed for this. My time is pretty valuable so I wouldn't blame anyone for skipping something as minor just like I don't for people who don't do their own oil changes.

How's she goin' eh?
I think for this I would also buy before build. The kit looks very factory compared to paracord or steel wire.
I'm not knocking the diy crowd, their quality or the materials and money saved. I'm just thinking for down the road if I sell.
People always complain about "the PO's hackjobs" or "wtf what the PO doing?"

been browsing this thread and picked up a few goodies. most recent is a Scosche magnetic phone mount (prob been mentioned before). placed the mount just under the oem trailer brake controller on my 2014 f150, and steel plate is very thin, fits nicely under my lifeproof case for my iphone 6. should have got one years ago for other vehicles.

interesting. a few friends are currently using the scosche with the larger plate for well over a year without issues. their results pretty much confirmed it for me to purchase. if its starts to fail soon in, ill contact Amazon.

Pistol packing Paw Paw
My modest addons all under $50
As shown and most attritable to input from this thread. Not shown is my add on of Rampage Tailgate LED Light Bars Six Function Light Bars
Part #: 960136 which after shipping was $49.99 so it squeked under. Got it from Auto Anything and love it.
The WeatherThec step bumper was $49 and change.
My emblems on the Window came from Shadow Six Romeo a veteran owned and operated website and the Chrome emblems are adhesive backed and I get a lot of complimnents on them. If your a Vet you should check them out.
My hook in the cab was inspired by a share in this thread and I had the Gray paint....trash bag came from Wally world at $3..I already had the hook.
Like most of you I continue to look for ways to make my ride unique and a reflection of ME.
Game **** front plate...Christmas gift from the Grands so it probably does not qualify as a mod or addon...but it sure looks good on my Truck.

While its not technically a modification and more of a "did you know". This is where I keep my carry pistol in my 2011 SCREW. I thought it was awful nice of Ford engineers to include a holster in the center console LOL. Also it is very secure in there and I have had no issues with it moving or coming loose. Also unless you open the lid all the way up you wont see it because its recessed in there.
