Depends on the projector you are using FX4_2014F150. Which ones are you using? No reflective housing can produce the output of a quality projector.
Because I know the LED haters will be along anytime after someone says they put LED's in reflector housings.......

My comparison is from a set of Morimoto Mini H1's with 5000K XB bulbs vs LED bulbs from 4x4truckleds. Both in the same truck, my 07 F150. I like the LEDs 100 times better.

I wouldn't feel comfy drilling into my bumper, I think I'd make a couple small brackets that fit between the bottom edge of the bed and the bumper. Pushed back a little, outta sight.

Default Headlight Blindspots - Projector 2014

Suppose that's gonna be the case for me too. I like extra lighting for sure but trying to avoid bolting on a bull bar or other light holder.

Anyone have suggestions on small but bright lights and where to mount them without a light bar? Hmm.. Maybe these Eagle Eye LEDs can be placed to shine just right.

The fog lights shine further than the projectors but they're so dim they're kind of useless. Plus brush and grass block the weak beam. Suppose a fog light bulb upgrade there might help as well.

JW Speaker, Morimoto and Rigid all have SAE/DOT Legal Replacements for your fog lights. I run both the JW Speaker and Rigid SAE/DOT D2 fogs on my rig and like both. The beam on the Rigids covers roughly six lanes the way I have them aimed.

You could always do what we've done and just replace the fog bulbs with 9005 LEDs, then re-aim them appropriately. (beam pics on my build thread)

Those little eagle eye lights are bright as hell. I used 4 for my kids F150 powerwheels headlights. This is just the headlights lighting up outside.

(Sigh... Can't figure out multi pic downloading on iPad... Will add a few below. Will get a shot or two of them at night later...)
I wonder if a couple of those would work well mounted in the flange just below the tailgate? Anyone think the top of the bumper would block too much light?

I think that would work well throwing the light outwards but wouldn't give you much on the ground itself.

I actually considered using some of those as "rock lights" under the truck but the 50 gauge wiring (I'm exaggerating) scares me a bit.

That's sorta what I was thinking as well. I've already got 3 red LEDs mounted like clearance lights on a dually, but they're just for markers.
My bumper is always an option, I don't have reverse sensors, and from what I see, those would look very similar. I'd like to see some output photos at night before I'd drill the bumper though.

50 gauge wiring?!?!?!?! Ya may as well use a human hair!!!
