Nice! I wonder how all these less expensive LEDs and light bars flooding the market - post-Rigid-dominance - will hold up over time?
I always thought Rigid was overpriced, probably b/c they were one of the first to market (or to see the market potential), but they never seemed to be that complex of a system to warrant the price they're asking (says the guy who has two pairs of their cubes).

Usually the LEDs are driven at half current, or sometimes even less. The lumens measured are either at the diode or they're the "possible" lumens the diodes could output if driven properly, and the heatsinks usually need to be reset the right way because they're usually tenuous connections at best.
But for casual use, as long as you silicone seal the edges of the glass and around the cable, along with any other points of ingress, they will work just the same. You might find a bank burnt out at some point, and if you do, then you can either repair it or try to use their promised warranty for whatever company you're getting it from.
Usually chinese dealers have no problem with replacing it, but will either want you to pay for shipping both ways or make you wait two months, or both. Lots of stuff Rigid makes is more expensive but also more reliable and their local customer service is hard to beat.
Just depends on what end of the spectrum you're willing to take your headaches. Out of your wallet or out of your time and knowledge.

Good evening
This is my first post. Fantastic forum BTW!
This modification cost me $6 (3 A/C Pipe insulation $2 each)
I brought a brand new bed cover from ebay but was too soft and the solution was very cheap and easy, I just bought 3 A/C pipe insulation, cover all 3 straight bows with the insulation and DONE!
Hope this can be useful for you guys

I still have a ways to go, before I can't tighten mine any further.
I like this idea though, because no matter how tight you make these covers, all the pulling is done on the sides, which leaves the middle a little loose. So I'm going to install those regardless.
So thanks for the idea bud. It is a good one.

I'm looking at some heavy duty garage shelving - one item I like says all over the web site that it is "Packaged in the USA" - nothing about manufactured here - just shipped here in bulk and then "packaged" and sold.
Just two weeks ago I bought some lighted sill plates (have not installed them yet) but it was clear from the beginning I was on a Chinese web site and they shipped from China. Only took about a week.
