Thank you for the inspiration. I didn't cut out on of the sheet metal like you did, I think for now I have enough space. It's still an option due to the child seat. Please excuse the messy carpet, she needs a good vacuuming.
$9 for the carpet at home depot. I already had the wood supplies laying around.

Just pull the A-pillar off, it's held in by clips. Apparently the clips are broken easily from what I've read on here, but mine were fine.
As for the passenger side, you'll see the 2 holes where the bolts are. They have little cap/cover things that can be pried up to expose the bolts. Other than that, it's the same process as the driver's side.
I can't quite remember why, but it took a few more minutes to re-assemble it all than it did to dis-assemble it. Either way, it's quick and easy. Just pull off the A-pillars and you'll see where to go from there. Sorry I couldn't be of more use... I did this months ago after I had major surgery, the anesthesia messed with my memory around that time so my memory from around that time is kind of hazy and patchy lol.
