I was having a hell of a time seeing behind me at night when backing up. So I installed these 2 LED light cubes that I bought from Amazon for $11.00 each. Fit right at the bottom of the bumper using existing bumper bolts. They are small, barely noticeable.....but when I throw it in reverse, they throw out a really good amount of light. They also really help when backing up to a trailer in the dark.

Wired them into the reverse lights so they come on automatically.

Can you post the link for these on Amazon?

Default ugly chrome cap-it box

So I have a tuxedo black fx4 ... I picked up a used chrome tool box last year.. I like chrome, just not anywhere near my truck ..

So this rainy Saturday I decided to paint it black .. Started off with a decent sanding using a Scotch bright followed by a good wash ..

Forgot to take pics while it was still chrome, so here is one after using a dupli colour self etching primer

Then I gave it 2 light coats of automotive dupli colour gloss black .. and one heavy coat of gloss black ..

My total cost for 1 can of primer and 2 cans of gloss $35.00.. 1 pack of Scotch bright.. $3.00

$38.00 total ... Super happy with end result

Anyways... Is there anything special you need to do with those? Remove the blue and scuff it up and use a heat gun or something and squeegee it on?
