You have a miniature kayak on your dash!!!
I purchased a HUD (heads up display) for my 13 FX4 on eBay for $50. Amazon carries some of these too, priced from $45-$55 but I ended up ordering from eBay (china vendor), got it in 6 days.
These plug into the OBDII port under the steering wheel. It has a bunch of display features, but I haven't really messed around with it too much. I've only had it for 2 days and the instructions are a little vague.
It features Rpms, speed, gas gauge, amount of gas left to empty, shift alarm, water temperature, oil temperature, engine rotation, auto on/off, auto display/brightness, among others. Some of the displays may or may not work with our trucks, I'm still learning how to use it.
The box comes with the unit, unit sticky dash pad, cable, anti glare screen (for windshield), and instructions.
The anti glare isn't really needed, but it does help in direct sunlight. It doesn't get in the way from the inside, but you can see the screen from outside (see pics below). I'm going to leave the screen on for now.
It looks really cool at night, but the real reason for the HUD is for a safer/better driving environment. We literally take our eyes off the road to look down at our speedometer for a few seconds, but in those few moments an accident can occur because you're not looking at the road. In my opinion, it seems even more dangerous in my lifted truck.
I'm very happy with it, there are other more expensive options, but I'm satisfied for what it does at the price point. We'll see about longevity, so far, so good.

Wonder if this will work without the little reflector screen on the windshield. Will this reflect right on the windshield by itself?
Excellent find though. I am interested in this.

It does reflect on the windshield without the screen, but not as visible during the day. I tried without but the screen made it better. I don't really mind it now, it's like having an embedded screen in your windshield, gives it a cool futuristic look. I've had plenty of people try to pull up next to me to get a better look. I think if you had a tinted windshield you can do without the screen.

No worries. Just looking out for each other. With all the stuff out on the internet just want to make sure no one gets had by a gimmick someone is trying to sell. It was only 17 bucks and it won't hurt nothing having it on there. Will probably help cut down on a little of carbon depositing anyways. I mainly didn't want to see someone go out and drop 100 bucks on the expensive one to correct a problem that has a different cause. As far as the 5.0 compression I have never looked up any specs but would imagine its under 10 to 1. And like I said if you have excess oil coming from your pcv obviously there is unwanted crankcase pressure that should be addressed. There will always be vapors though so I definitely wouldn't call your catch can a waste because if those extra vapors contain small amounts of oil when its burned in the cylinder it could result in carbon deposits. Bottom line your truck do whatever makes you happy and f what everyone else says....just dont buy the fuzzy dice for the mirror because someone online says they add 20 hp....lol
This is the bottom plug if the whole bottom is coated then good. But even catching this little bit makes me happy.

Had some scum bags manage to get the plates off of someone's car at work, so I didn't waste any time ordering up the "Plate Keeper" screws from Jimmi Jammer for $10. They give you 4 screws and a special bit. At the very least it'll hopefully **** the scum bag off and make them move on to someone else. Small investment, better than going through the process of reporting stolen plates and replacing them, I can only imagine it's annoying.
